The Most Reverend Philip Richardson

Philip is the Bishop of Waikato and Taranaki, having retired as Archbishop of the New Zealand Dioceses in 2024. Philip has had a long history in education sector including at the University of Otago, parish ministry in Auckland, Northland and Otago and community development work in Auckland City.   He has chaired the Church‘s Commission responsible for Theological Education and Ministry Training in New Zealand and Polynesia and is a past trustee of the Anglican Church Pension Board.
