Funding from the St John's College Trust Board
As of 1 July 2025 the Trust has introduced a new methodology for the distribution of funding of education programmes and scholarships within the Anglican Church in Aotearoa, New Zealand and Polynesia, known as 'Bulk Funding'.
Education Programme Funding:
Under this methodology, the Trust has set the level of distribution to existing recipients of education programme funding for the 2026 and 2027 years and will not be seeking any further education programmes during this time.
New Scholarship Applications
Also for 2026 and 2027, applicants wishing to apply for a scholarship from the Trust will need to submit a funding application directly to their associated Amorangi or Diocese, and who shall be responsible for determining the approval of scholarships which best meet the purposes of the Trust and the Amorangi/Diocese's education objectives.
Existing Scholarships
Existing scholarship recipients (for scholarships awarded before 31 December 2024) will remain subject to the provisions of the Funding Manual and are required to submit continuing funding applications in March and September for multi-year scholarships.
